Seriously-How many going with Glass Roof?

The glass roof is a good alternative price wise when you compare it to the convertible. The glass roof is $2000 vs the convertible which is $5000. That kind of makes the glass roof price look pretty good to me. I want one installed on my 2008 but the only place in Virginia that installs them is 3 hours away in Chesapeake, Virginia and said it would cost $3150.00 including tax. Now that's too high for me.

I vaguely remember seeing that but didn't care since a) I was getting stone no matter what and b) the glass roof was too pricey.
But it does make me VERY curious why a glass roof wouldn't be available with a specific interior color. . .

Pretty much the only valid reasons to not get the glass roof are "it's too much money" and/or "it's not worth the money to me".
Both very valid reasons, and more power to you.
Hail breaking through the glass and killing you; magic human-seeking lightning going through the glass and killing you; turning the car into an oven, killing you; the glass melting in "massive" 130 degree heat, dripping molten lava onto you and killing you; shattering into a million razor-sharp pieces, cutting your jugular (and junk) open and killing you...
You might laugh, but I have SEEN EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE postulated as reasons the glass roof is bad and will kill you and you shouldn't get it. Anybody with a f***ing shred of intellectual and analytical capability (and even the slightest inkling for basic research) will know in about six seconds that all those theories are pure, unadulterated, high clarity, USDA Grade A bull****.

I ordered mine with glass roof, I saw a 2010 with it in the dealer and it looked great both from the inside and outside. Always a lot of light, never too windy, never too sunny, never too noisy.
Too much money? Who buys a coupe because it's cost efficient? Come on!

Glass Roofs slower than Non Glass Roofs?
This is a good debate-
Is a Glass Roof car going to be slower in the 1/4 than a non glass roof car?????
Is this the consenus? Has this been proven or tested?
I noticed a lot of the 1/4 mile test cars so far have been hardtops

How many of you are going with a glass roof? Seems like a majority are going with hardtops according to the Official Ordering thread.
Is it money? Or people who plan to track their cars?
Convertibles are a whole different animal, but concering a glass roof- my wife would want it, but for me, it's a matter of a few issues-
more weight, possibly going to take the car to the track, extreme heat in Florida and can live without the extra few degrees above my head- the elmination of ever having to worry about a darn leak-and of course, last but not least 2k to throw into the financing...

I went with the glass roof because it really transforms the car...just gives the cockpit a totally open feeling. And from my perspective it's better than a convertible because I can enjoy it every day, regardless of weather.
Reminds me of my old '88 T-Top, but with more glass area, and no squeaks/leaks.
I didn't lose a moment's sleep over the 28 lbs. With 412+ Hp to pull it around, it would be indiscernable from the seat of the pants...

My guess is that the glass roof and stone interior are both uncommon options, and Ford predicted having the two in combination together would be rare, so they decided it wasn't worth the money to fabricate a stone headliner and sunshade to match the other stone interior pieces. Meanwhile, all the other interior colors use the same charcoal black headliner color.
