Sequential Turn Signals - Disabling them
Anyone know of a way to disable the sequential turn signal in the 2011? I've googled repeatedly, and all I come up with are articles on how to add them to Mustangs.

I doubt it will be easy as I believe the SJB controls them. You may have to take a chance at wiring the two outer lamps to the inner most so that they all go on at the same time.
However I have no clue if that would work, all it may do it mess up the SJB & lights. Being that they are LED I wouldn't be supprised if the amp draw is critical to everything working correctly.
Maybe talk to your local dealer and see if there is a setting in the SJB that can be changed to emiminate them.
Why do you want to remove them? They really stand out, making the car very noticable & they only work on turn signals. Brake & hazard activate all 3 at the same time.

I read that Dr. Seuss story to my son just last night.
And I agree with the others: If you can't see the turn signals, what do you care how it looks?

Don't buy a 10+ if you don't like the look.....
It's not as cut-and-dry as the PnP adder kits were for the older models. It's controlled by the SJB and that's why it only does it for turn signals, not flashers or brakes (where the kits use cascading capacitors and/or 555 timers IIRC).
I don't know what the dealer capabilities are, but they may have something in their diagnostic tool that can enable and disable things, like seatbelt chimes, that would do the same for the signals. I'd imagine it's a matter of a logic gate controlling whether or not to time the sequence, or light all 3 at the same time. Since the flashers use solid pulsing, you might find some luck in there.

I actually don't like the LED sequential's on the 2010+'s. I think the sequential effect looks alot better on 05-09's, using real light bulbs that flash on and on, versus LEDs that blink on/off instantly in a cheesy digital sort of way.
The slow glow on/glow off of the real bulbs makes the sequential effect look alot smoother. When I get a 2011, I'll probably look for a way to retrofit in regular bulbs and tie it in to an 05-09 sequential kit.

Compare: 2005 "chase" lights (slow to go on, slow to go off)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWiaFJ9lAj8
versus
2010 "sequential" lights (instant on, instant off)

(also.. I like chase better than sequential, but I'm biased.. because I have the chase lights.. )
