SCT Just Released

They just released it

"Now available!!!!

The 2011 Mustang 5.0L preloaded tune files add up to 28 RWHP & 34 ft-lbs Torque to the automatic transmission equipped Mustang, and a tire shredding 32 RWHP & 32 ft-lbs of toruque to the to the 6 speed manual transmission vehicles. SCT's new 2011 Mustang 5.0L preloaded tune files also increase throttle response, shift firmness and remove the Mustang's Top Speed and RPM Rev limiter, allowing maximum performance from your 2011 Mustang GT.

I usually get a dyno tune.. but I might actually do this as my first mod and wait for the dyno tune after a CAI purchase in the far future.

Something about not having a rev limiter makes me nervous, and did he say the auto was shifting at 7300 rpm

Yeah, I was kind of wondering about that. Raising the rev limiter a couple hundred RPM is one thing but I wouldn't have thought that they would eliminate it.

Learn your engine man! I can tell when I'm close just by the sound.

Thats nice, I driven many manuals, last few cars I owned all were. However this one is an auto and Im more concerened with with the fact they have the rev limiter removed in general and shifting at 7300rpm with a stock auto seems high

I think he means removing the speed limiter and raising the rev limit.

Sounds unnecessarily dangerous. :/ There are some revs I just don't want to hit ever.
