Painting

Andy,

Many of these wheel repair specialists, including the one I went to, also does custom paint job. They can do all sorts fancy paint jobs from multiple colors, layered, powder coated and baked. If you like the original brembo style wheels but want dark colors, might as well get that dinger fixed AND get a new paint job. Probably cheaper unless you need a second set of tires and wheels.

If it's just about getting the scratch out of your sight, you should definitely get it repaired as it'd be much cheaper and the fix will be good as new.

After some wash and wax, the "accident" is less noticible now, as the yellow paint (from the curb) is now finally gone... just the very edge of the rim is scratched, but is not noticible, unless you look very closely.

So for right now, I think I'm alright, and I'm over the orginal "pain" of hitting the curb.

So I may wait until the beginning of the new year to order those black track pack wheels, as I am still very fond and excited about them... I think they would look really good on an all black 5.0!

But next on the mod list is the exhaust, followed by the Steeda Tri-Ax shifter... then the wheels! LOL
