RTR wheels

Everyone see that they have silver RTR wheels now?

Showing them on CDC's website, same price as the charcoal.

I like the silver better. I think they'd look really good on SG, LR and KB.

Thanks for the heads up!

I still think these RTR wheels are the best looking aftermarket S197 pieces ever made... the new finish option is entirely welcome but IMO, the darker the better...

I look forward to seeing you guys with these wheels but if I ever spring for a set, they're going to be the anthracite (like Stinger's)...

What is interesting is that these wheels are all over on Audis BMWs and VWs I love the look too and want them in other sizes which you can get from VMR http://www.velocitymotoring.com/wheels_v710.html but not in our bolt pattern. When I emailed VMR they were sorry that they are not making in our bolt pattern. But they manufacture them for CDC(the RTR wheel)! What gets me is the same size 19x9.5 you can get from several German wheel and tire shops for about 900-1000 bucks also in more finishes. Not the $1200 the RTRs are going for. Still deciding on the RTR or CS56 in black don't really want 20s but might have to go that way. The black CS 56 I think would good on candy red. Comments?

You could always buy the silver and have them coated to any color of your liking. A glossy anthracite would be really sharp, or even black chrome, or the factory Brembo finish (I forget what they call it).

I think the silver finished in black chrome like Overboost suggested would be sick on red candy.

I'm a big fan of a gloss finish on a wheel. No chrome, but anything gloss is a good look in my book. One of my gripes about the RTRs, after seeing them on Shaun's car, is that the matte finish always "looks" dirty. I love the look of a freshly cleaned wheel and glossy tire shine on it.

sweet! I always loved the look of the black RTR's on grabber, silver and white but not so much candy metallic red.

I think the silver would look much better on red than black. these are officially back on my radar

There are quite a few companies making similar looking wheels in different finishes and in other sizes too.

Any comments from RTR users that are running a staggered tire setup considering the wheels are all 9.5"??

Finally! I've been searching for an RTR/V710 style wheel in silver for our cars for over a year now. Of course, these are just hitting the market at the same time that the Ford Racing mesh wheels are hitting the market as well and the Ford Racing wheels aren't much more and are forged. So, looks like I'll just have to decide between the two....but glad the option is finally there.

I believe the GT500 runs 19X9.5 wheels up front. I haven't heard of any issues there.

Mine weren't rubbing at all when running 255/40's front and 275/40's back with a 1" drop all around.
