Roush vs. Hushpower vid - with X pipe!
Here's a quick video comparing the Roush axle back to the Hushpower axle back on my car. I have a Lethal Off-Road X pipe too.
The Hushpower has more drone on my car, the Roush has some, but much less.
I like the sound of the Hushpowers better, so I put some Damplifier Pro in the trunk, and it tamed the drone.
The drone is still there, but it is livable now. I only put on 10 sheets in different spots in the trunk, I didn't cover everything. Didn't want to soundproof as much as stop the vibration to get rid of the drone.
I didn't ecpect it to work very well, but it worked surprisingly well.
I may add some more this srping, but for now I'm done.
I'm putting the Roushes up for sale. PM me if interested...

Awesome!
How much did the Damplifier pro cost and how much did you need? I need to get rid of some of this drone as well
PS: Got a little squirrely on one of those take offs?

I put on about 9 sheets (12 x 20) altogether.
Doesn't look too pretty under the carpet, but then again, who cares?
I bought a full trunk kit (about 20 sheets - 36.5 sq ft) and a wooden roller for about $160, but you could easily get by with half that amount. I ordered from second skin http://www.secondskinaudio.com/index.php
I have the convertible, so I have an extra sheet metal tub inside the trunk that I had to cover also, and that took about 2 1/2 sheets by itself.
My goal was to dampen the vibration rather than to soundproof and they say that 25% coverage on a panel is enough to do that.
