Right now i have a lethal performance h pipe, no resonators, and gt500 axle back. loud as hell, but stinks so bad. Fiance is complaining about headaches and blah blah. sound is loud and pretty raspy. love the sound and the volume. would roush axleback the factory catted h pipe be about the same volume as gt500s and no cats?? I would love to get this h pipe off, its only a week old. worried about the roush being too raspy

 

I think she is being a drama queen BUT even with the factory exhaust minus the axle back it will still sound great.

Catless X-Pipe, stock OTA and roush.

 

I'm running factory with Roush ABs, I don't think it's too loud. I do kinda creep home late at night so the neighbors don't hear, but other than that it's fine. No drone on the highway (I drive an hour to work) and it's quiet until you light it up.

I personally think it's too quiet, but I also think the car needs to be faster, so take it for what it's worth.

 

Borla Atak or Roush with a catted H will be plenty loud.

 

I haven't bought my exhaust yet, but I personally love the way the Roush AB's sound! I would leave the resonators on and get the boss side exhaust kit. Together that combo sounds FREAKING CRAZY!!
