Robb Report names Boss best of the best coupes
I have a 12 GT and was never too impressed with the Boss. The more I educate myself on it, the more I realize what it's about and it's worthiness. At first, I just thought it was an overpriced GT with stickers on it. The new Boss is much more than that and deserves respect in the historical line up of Mustangs.
Nice. I have nothing to explain or prove to you, but let's just leave it at I've been very poor before. I know what common man is. You know nothing about me, and all I know about you is you cry in nearly every post about the boss.
You're right. The car is too good for me. It's too good for $40,000. Hell it's too good for $75,000. That's the point of this article. If you don't need the Robb report to tell you that, fine. **** off. The post wasn't an invitation for insecure, self pity-- and unlike you I don't need to **** on other people's fun for self reassurance.
Have a nice night sir.

As you can see, you are completely wasting your time with any kind of cogent response. I have no idea what kind of insecurity, obsession or deviance motivates someone that doesn't even own this model to constantly ridicule, deride, and insult the Boss enthusiast at every single opportunity. I don't know why the mods tolerate this? Sure it's a 'free country' with free speech. But anyone with half a brain can call a spade a spade.
Dozens of the 2012 Boss owners that used to post here simply don't bother any more. When the Boss was first introduced it was fun to be an active member of the forum to share ideas, discuss different mods, and how to improve it in every way. Most of the original group of '12 owners have just disappeared or post just once in a blue moon. Gee, I wonder why...? Who knows.

So cry me a river, someone made fun of my beloved Boss on the internet. Boo hoo. Not the first time and won't be the last. But as someone recently pointed out over 7000 posts? It really is pathetic, but what can you do? Answer, ignore list. Oh and join other forums that don't tolerate this crap. It's a big internet, plenty of options available if you look around.

Mustang is whatever you want it to be from secretary's car to hot rod to sport car to Lt Bullitt/Steve Mc
to CHP cop car to track ready race car to 200mph monster to... The only limits are in your mind.

I think it is even more impressive that a working man's car, the Mustang Boss, IS recognized by a magazine typically more devoted to megabuck rides, that the Mustang, despite its relatively affordable price, nonetheless attains a level of performance, capability and competence on a par with vehicles costing many multiples more.
Does the Mustang or its fans and owners "need" the accolades of the Robb Report to be validated in some way, of course not, but those accolades are impressive nonetheless and indicates that the Mustang's capabilities rise far above its price point and represents a fantastic performance value. The Boss is a hugely impressive and entertaining car, regardless of price, and one that any potential buyer, regardless of economic position, ought to consider seriously to add to ones toy box. Why wouldn't a wealthy Robb Report reader understand or be interested in a Boss Mustang? Sure, a few snobs may consider it below their station, judging cars primarily by their sticker price and hood badge, but that's their misconception and loss.

A symptom of a very bad disease that infects western society but I suppose in the context of this thread that is neither here nor there and much more suited to discussion in the politics/religion forum.

My point is that the mustang doesn't need a high brow magazine list that has finally noticed the mustang, it's buyer isn't the millionaire, it's the middle man who already knows how good it is.
