I have been doing a lot of research and would like some members input that have done it with their 3.7. I currently have Flowmaster and I am thinking of removing it to get more of a sound on idle and i do not mind having a drone in the cab if removing them will cause that.

 

I thought about removing them. I installed a set of GT500 mufflers, and the sound is what I was after. So, rather than experiment and remove them, I just left it the way it is. Not the answer perhaps of what you're looking for.

I think I recall a few sound clips of them removed on other sites, but not sure if they werer V6's or V8's. I think I googled sound clips with "resonators removed from a Mustang".
