Removing headliner...

Hey guys, I've got the glass roof on my 2011 and as I was closing the sunshade the passenger side rail comes off the track. Does anyone with the glass roof ever have this issue?

Before I take it back to the dealer I wanna try to fix it myself. I can see where the rail goes into the track but can't reach it so I'll have to remove the headliner. I can see that I'll have to remove the side pillar panels, sun visors, & map lights but was looking for a more detailed guide so I don't end up breaking any plastic pieces or clips. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Yeah I think that's the first I've read of that problem. Inspect it carefully after the dealer, they aren't known for their gentle touch on trim

Mine jams up when the weather is cold out. I have not had it come off track yet. Take it in to get fixed.

I am almost 100% sure the headliners are glued in in the 2010 and up models. Do yourself a favor and dont mess with it. It will be a nightmare.

Hi RaceRed500,

I agree with everyone here. Have you brought your vehicle in to your Ford dealer to get this resolved? If not, message me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, and contact info so I can help.
