Removing cap on rear deck lid?

Anyone know whats under there? Is there holes? Is it flush or does it stick out? Thanks guys.

Go onto American Muscles website and look up the CDC solid decklid filler panel and then look at the install directions and it has a good explanation of how to remove the faux cap.

It's stuck on there pretty well, have to be very careful not to booger up the paint.

Ah, the removing of the cap isnt the issue, I just wanted to know what I was going to see under there before I did. Looks like I need to look for some more options.

2 sided tape and I believe it was 3 posts.....not as bad as you think. When I took it off my GT500, it just took a bit of Goof-off and fishing line.

Im not a least bit worried on the removal, I just didnt want to remove it and see what I feared....

Yea Ronin, I've mentioned in several threads that this is the eye soar of our cars. I've been throwing around several ideas myself. I would actually like the GT without the gawdy chrome ring around it. So I'm toying with that option right now.
