Removing 2013-2014 Decklid Panel

I removed the deck lid panel on my 2014 by removing the two screws on each lower corner inside the trunk lid and then yanking the upper right corner of the panel. The top clips are fine, but the bottom clips broke? The panel can be reused and mounting should not be a problem since the lower panel has the two screws also holding it to the trunk lid. As reassurance I will use tape that I have sen mentioned by others who have installed the deck lid panel without clips.

I used a car panel pry tool, mine is metal so I wrapped it in paper towel and taped it. After i took the screws out I pryed up on the corner and got in there to compress the clips. Pulled to hard once and the clip broke. If you take your time should be able to get it without braking any.

The trick is to push the part of the clip to release without breaking.

I broke 2.
