I went red candy just because nobody has seen lava red on an actual mustang yet. The digital representations are just okay, and the f150 color is hard to imagine on the mustang body lines.

Candy Red. My wife has a MKX in Candy Red and looks GREAT! I almost got a GT (CR), but went with Sunset Gold. Love the look of Candy Red with Package 5 also.

Lava Red is still somewhat hard to imagine from the pics, but the interior will be great. It will be a nice dark color, but not way too purple like some of the other dark colors I have seen. Red candy is nice too though. I am getting a GT Premium in Lava Red, and my mom is planning on getting a V6 Premium in Red Candy this summer. They are both good colors. I really wanted to go with Lava, but Red candy is really nice, too.

From what I understand lava red is going to be like a very dark maroon almost like a black cherry, which is exactly what I want. A dealer that I deal with all the time ordered one to my specs with the agreement that I have the right to refuse the car if the color is not what I expect it to be. Been waiting for a Mustang in this color for a long time.. Candy red is nice also.
