That Red Candy Laguna Seca

That Red Candy Laguna Seca
I was browsing Village Ford's Mustang inventory on Ford.com, and when I scrolled down to the more expensive ones I got stopped dead in my tracks. A Laguna Seca was showing up in Red Candy. I figured it was just some sort of error so I opened the link to the sticker. Sure enough Red Candy was showing on the sticker. I was flabbergasted! I called the dealership and it turns out that this is the one-off Laguna Seca for the Cattle Baron’s Ball charity auction later this month in Downtown Detroit. Yup, I read about that last month, but had forgotten about it.

Not for sale . It is supposedly going straight to the auction. The guy at the dealership said it most likely won't ship to the dealership, just go to whoever is handling the auction. I was hoping it would show up at the dealership for at least a few hours so I could have a look and take a few pics.

Thats the nature of a special car like that. It will be worth big big bucks in years to come. Its a collector car plain and simple.

Anybody notice that there is no surcharge for the Red Candy paint showing on the window sticker like there is for every other Mustang? I guess when you're paying top dollar at an auction for a one-off, Ford will throw in the extra-cost paint for "free!"
