Rear shock install question, help!!

Rear shock install question, help!!
I know this is suspension question, but Im right in the middle of it and this one gets more traffic. Ive got the old rear shocks out, so how do I get the rubber bushing off the old and on to the new? Just it just pull off? Is it threaded? Im stuck.
