I'm curious to see other rides that came with factory or aftermarket pinstripes.
My black 2011 V6 came with a silver/gold combo stripe. I've had many compliments on it. I can go either way.

I wasent even aware that Ford still did pinstripping on the Mustang anymore. Last time I saw a Mustang with OEM P.S.'s it was my old '85 Fox.

 

I thought the pinstripe could have been the dealer installing them so they could raise the price point a bit. However, My original window sticker refers to it as "tape stripe."

Reminds me of the 150 dollar smokers package option on my 00. (A lighter and a console cup!) I don't even smoke.

Anyway, A Ford mechanic told me he has worked on at least a 100 of the new Mustangs and mine was the first he'd see with a pinstripe.

That's one reason in so curious.

 

The tape stripe that refers too should be the lower rockers like alot of mustangs have, but if you didnt have that it must have been taken off before you got it

 

Ah. Thanks! I bet they removed the rocker stripe and jazzed it up with the pinstripe.

 

Yeah that's probably what happened, was probably a much easier sale for them having a sleek clean black looking stang such as yours!
