I'm actually beginning to think that is an optical illusion. I think the inboard, third segment, of the tail lights actually does angle in toward the concave, center section of the Trunk. I don't really know if I'd call it a dip anymore. If anything I think it's where the inner third segment of the tail lights angle up toward the bottom of the trunk edge. The outer two segments are clearly angled forward, past the inner back up light.
