Rear defrost fix

One of the tabs for the rear defrost popped off the glass on my 2011. Anyone know what I need to fix it? The wire didn't separate from the tab, the tab (which I assume is soldered to the rear window) came off the window.

Took it to the dealer and mentioned it to them during an oil change. Told me they can't fix it and would schedule a local place to come fix it. Waited a couple days and they never called me back. Not a surprise, though. All the dealers within 20 miles of me are terrible for service and sales.

But anyways, any idea how I can fix it? Never really soldered anything if that's what needs to be done.

Thanks!

Nah brah, score some conductive silver epoxy off Amazon for like $6 and re-attach. Worked wonders when mine popped off the rear window of my '05. I used painters blue masking tape to hold it on and some of those hand warmers pockets taped to the outer glass(was cold when it happened) and let it cure overnight.

I bought a kit from frostfighter.com to repair it on my 2006.

I bought the Frostfighter kit. I am waiting for some warmer weather to reattach. As Womprat stated, it is probably nothing more then the conductive epoxy. I needed a tab so I got it all from them.

The basic rear defogger kits from your local parts store also have the conductive epoxy to glue the tabs back to the glass.

I've had my 2011 for 4 years, almost to the day. I've never used my rear window defroster, don't even know if it works
