ram air hood and no airbox?
Theres a good chance this has already been asked...but I searched briefly and couldn't find a thread......but here goes anyway:
I'm about to pull the trigger on the Cervinis Type 4 ram air hood for my '12 GT. http://www.cervinis.com/10-12mustang...od-billet.html
I have an aftermarket CAI - the AIRAID one from americanmuscle.com, which deletes the airbox and replaces it with that plastic piece/rubber topper.
Since this is a non-functional hood, but still has openings in the front, would water get all over the air filter and damage my engine?

You shouldn't have any problems with too much water getting to the air filter. If anything, the filter could potentially get a little damp, but nothing that would cause damage. We have a few customers running this same Ram Air Hood on their daily drivers with aftermarket CAI's and haven't reported any issues.
Hope this info helps you out!
