Style of wheels made by Late Model Restoration mimicking the style of the 10th Anniversary Cobra wheels.

It's hard to get a good handle on the color (Race Red) from those pics, they have some sort of polarization or filter on their camera. Looked great when I saw it at Barrett Jackson, though!

IMO the stock "Brembo" wheels are gorgeous.

Agreed, I love the Brembo wheels. I may have them refinished in a hyper-silver and consider widening the rears to 19X10 to run a 285/35/19 out back.

I think they are 19x9 as is, which means you should be able to fit a 275 on them, but that's really the limit of a 9" wide wheel, as you probably already know.

You're right a 275 would fit but not optimal for the front. Optimal is a 255 tire with just 9" in width, a 275 needs a 9.5" width minimum to be optimal as you already know as well. Its amazing what I see on some cars for just bragging rights saying they have this huge tire on a narrow rim when they don't understand you are compromising the footprint due to pinching it down so bad.

At lease with the new Mustang GT and its near 50/50 weight distribution we can run the 255 up front and 285 in the rear with a stretched 10" wide rear rim.

Dave

Just so happens that this morning I ordered my Race Red GT Premium vert with Brick Red interior. I would have liked to have seen a Blaze Yellow, another new color for 2011, but it is not even in the Ford order books as of yet.

Blaze Yellow is a Job2 color.

You're right. Below is a link containing more information regarding the wheel / tire combination for this car.

Too bad they don't offer a 10 or 10.5 width for the rear.
