Wow! A little sensitive, huh? All I said was that I was expecting more torque on the bottom end. I said I still want a 2011, but am willing to wait a little while. I say quit whining when somebody has one little nitpicky thing to say. I only remember one other person commenting that the bottom end torque being lacking on the forum. I think this one minor observation (or crying as you call it) is far from ubiquitous. Almost every single review (mag or forum) I've read is glowing, which is perfect to take solace in and use as a pacifier. This will make one strong and protect them from the "detractors".

New rule on the forum
While it's perfectly appropriate for members to post their comments after a test drive, members must realize that only positive comments are acceptable. Any comment or review that even has a hint of negativity against the 2011 Mustang will not be tolerated. This will be considered "crying" and is highly discouraged.

Members may post daily rants expressing their discontent for Ford Motor Company and the delivery delay of their cars. Members are encouraged to start new threads. Complain early and complain often is the motto that should be exercised.

Anyone can cruise around being the low end torque is on the lower side and have no worries just accelerating from a stop. Exhaust and cabin quite. But the power is on tap when you need it. Hit the gas and the tires scream the exhaust comes to life and you your take off like a rocket.
The way the aftermarket is shaping up with just a few tests being done this car should be pushing over 400 rwhp with just bolt ons.
What else could you want in a street car?
I completely agree with you. This car is quite impressive especially given how much you can pick one up for. Considering I picked this car up for less than 30 grand, I can not be any more impressed. Although no car is perfect, Ford is getting really close with the 2011. JMO

Absolutely, I couldn't agree more! It's great value from a modern car that we only dreamed about 10 years ago. I love the car, I just had one comment on it that some didn't like.

Isn't the car set up like a wolf in sheep's clothing? Quite, refined and under control. Then you punch it and the thing just rips, sheds is mild demeanor and everything just comes to a brutal climax. I think this is what is so impressive about the 5.0, the cabin and even the stock exhaust. Will be very interesting to see a quality aftermarket CAI and tune adding another 25-30 rwhp if possible.

I'm still not sure what exactly is so wrong with the 10-11 rear ends. Some people don't like the backup lights... but the old ones down in the corner of the red just look bad... and would on any car. Look like an afterthought.

The black 'diaper' looks bad with some colors, but very good with other (white especially). That's easily rectified if someone just can't stand it. What else changed that makes it so horrid for folks?

Having gears between the engine and the rear wheels might have something to do with that.

Just sayin'...

Its not just the black diaper to me, the shape of the upper and lower parts combined just looks bloated and awkward, and I like the 'afterthought' back up lights better than the traffic cone taillights on the 2010+

I guess I need to just park by an '09 and stand back and look at them... because following an '09 on the road, the tail lights and the little 'scoop' in the bottom of the deck lid are the immediate 'giveaway' signs. Otherwise, they look the same to me.

What other forums or reviews are available that mention "unimpressive"?

The Mustang engineers, I believe, are responding nicely. There are, however, some people, who moan regardless.

Not everyone is whining...some are more vocal about certain aspects. Passionate cars evoke passionate responses. They help to "sharpen the saw" and set the tone for future improvements.

Over 9 million people have said "thanks" by buying a Mustang and keeping the production going for over 45 years. Thanks to you for the support!

I love the 2010/11 back end styling. Here's some photos of my car:
