Quiest shifter Bracket

Which of the after market shifters and /or brackets is the quietest for a MT82. Most of ny hearing is gone in the high freq, but I seem to heat all transmission noise in the driveline. I want a better shift quality but need it to be the least noise or it will drive me nuts!

I have the JHR bracket and I noticed no extra noise at all really after install. I got mine at Latemodel restoration for $45 shipped. It's a great deal.

I've tried 3 different brackets.
UPR - noisy as heck.
Steeda - red bushing is stock quite, black bushing is noisy.
Barton 2 post - noisy but the best by far.

I have the Steeda bracket installed on mine in combination with the Steeda shifter... no noise issues here, just precise shifts!

Steeda Tri-Ax with the red bushing

Great quality piece that is made in America with American workers! Comes with a lifetime warranty. Let me know if I can price one of them out for you? Just a PM away.

Best Regards,

TJ

I have an MGW shifter with their heat shield and I didn't notice much of an increase in NVH at all.
