questions about mykey

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I couldnt find this answer anywhere about mykey. Being that there are two keys, I understand one acts as the admin, and the other can be programmed. If the battery is disconnected for an extended period of time, would that undo the settings I had for the non admin key?

Owners manual says it must be de-programmed by using the admin key only..... Nothing mentioned about the batt. being disconnected making any changes. If it did, the my key would not be much use.

Thank you, that is good to know. I wasnt able to find it in the car manual, and was hoping it would still be programmed if my battery was disconnected for an extended period of time.
