Question for vert owners with Nav
I recently moved to Florida and I'm really itching for a convertible. I have gotten used to automatic climate control so I am seriously considering the electronics package. (Plus I love gadgets). But my concern is that the touch screen will be completely useless every time I put the top down.
Can the vert owners with Nav weigh in on how bad it is.
If you had the chance to do it over again, would you still get it?
Thanks!

Oscar, I'm glad to hear that Ford's is better than the GM's. The one in my Vett is useless with the sun on the screen. But, then again it's pretty much useless w/ the top up. What a piece of crap.

I have no problem seeing the navigation and audio controls with the top down even in the Florida sun. I have noticed a couple of times when it was difficult to see the backup camera with the sun directly behind but I think that's probably the camera itself washing out from the light more than the display.
I would definitely get the electronics package again without any hesitation.
BTW, make sure you flip the seat back forward if you leave the car parked with the top down. The leather seats get incredibly hot in direct sun.
