Question for stinger or dan

Hey guys what type of lugnuts did u guys put on your rtr wheels, the stock ones obviously dont fit, because of the wide lip on the nuts. And the set I put on fit, however I noticed I blew out the cap (err the end) of one of the lugnuts as if the studs are too long.

Can u guys give me any suggestions, on a brand, type or measurement of what your using?

I have used the stock Ford lugnuts for my RTR wheels, didn't change a thing about them.

Really? the stock lugnuts seemed way to tight, and i didnt wanna chance destroying the wheel putting them on

I actually removed a wheel just the other day to relocate a spring. It is a bit tight but with a 1/2" deep socket i worked just fine. I obviously didn't use an impact gun.

Update, I actually did end up getting a set of gorilla locks, they fit perfect and look good. As a side note to anyone who may get rtr's or even an aftermarket rims. There these washer like nuts on the rotors, one on each wheel. That almost has a star pattern on them, you wanna absolutlely make sure you take those off.

The stock wheels have a indentation for clearance, so if u dont take those off, the wheel wont be flat, and your gonna have a safety issue on your hands, and a ton of vibration in the wheel. Pat @ classic design concepts was able to help me out with this problem, hes the man.

This is what I did.

I actually already had them on my black bullitts and then just transfered them over. I didn't want shiny lug nuts on these wheels.

I'm glad your wife let you keep the wheels Praetorian.
