Pulled the trigger at GALPIN TODAY!
I had to run from home (Bakersfield) to Canoga Park today to pick up some supplies for my business. it's about a 90 minute drive and happens to be about 10 miles from Galpin Ford. I had been contacted by Carlos (internet sales guy) at Galpin a couple of times after he saw posts of mine on THE SOURCE!?!
Ultimately I called when about 20 minutes out and left him a message that I was in route. When I arrived I was informed he was with another customer and would be tied up for a while. Ultimately I was passed off to Stuart. What a GREAT FREAKIN' GUY! Stuart is about 60, he's east coast to the bone. Funny, wise ****, a complete cartoon stereotype of a salesman and likely sometimes a shark, but I completely enjoyed my time with him and his partner Jeff.
These two were like an old married couple. Ultimately we agreed on $500 over invoice with Stuart. It was a little higher than I wanted but, I really liked the car and didn't see blowing the deal for $9/month. Next thing Jeff is harassing him about rebates I might qualify for. He finds 1 for $500 and another for $750. So ultimately 750 under invoice was my bottom line. I think I could have grinded them down a few extra bucks, but again would it have been worth the stress??? Not to me. I chose not to get any of the many extended service plans offered.
Carlos finally shows up after the deal is moving aggressively forward. Nice guy, seems like he may have felt some tension towards Stuart, hard to say for sure. But he took over and made sure everything moved smoothly. I'm sure whomever the customer he was with was, he was treated professionally.
Ultimately I was treated with respect and courtesy. What I would say is do your research before you show up. Know what you want, what you don't, what you are willing to pay, your credit score.... Cover your bases. They have a serious inventory and I will recommend them to friends!!! But, of course they are in business to make every dime they can so CAVEAT EMPTOR!
The car is Kona Blue, 6 speed manual, Brembo Package, Electronics Package, Comfort Package, Security Package, Back Up Camera, 3.73's.... Hell it's late, I'm tired. I'll try to get some pics up in the next few days. LET THE MODDING BEGIN!!!
Who has the best prices on corsa exhaust???

I've never posted a pic on this site, hope this works. Got home last night around 10 PM from dealership, dreamed about the sync/electronics package (rather dream about Sofia Vergara. Is it a coincidence that her last name is almost Viagra???) woke up at 5:30 to give it a bath and clean off the bugs from my 100+ mile trip home from Galpin. Pic is a Blackberry Storm Pic, quality is at best so so. But, I do love this freakin car

Too BAD Galpin(Christan Judge) never would give me a price on a 2010 Mustang. He said he would match any price in writing but would not provide a price to me. BTW nice car. Also hey Carlos maybe you can give me a price.

Ha I hear you. The Tundra reminds me of the 97-04 F-150 mixed with Super Duty. That being said I'd never ever buy a Toyota. I'd love a Raptor though!
I ordered the Corsa Xtreme Axlebacks through LMPerformance.com. They got it for $622.50 with free shipping. It's the cheapest on the internet that I've found. Unfortunately they are not in stock yet and are still awaiting shipment from Corsa (I believe most online vendors are having the same issue too). But I figured if I have to wait, I might as well get it cheap. Congrats on your new stang!
