Premium Gas Prices, Higher?
Its the V6, they do quite a bit better on gas lol. How are you getting to 300?! I guess its becasue I have to do so much around town heavy traffic driving, but I'm lucky to make it to 240 miles.
Not so much, no. Go read up on that concept. They make more money on the sodas and candy you buy, per dollar spent, than any gas or even lotto.
Not that they don't make any, but it's not near the conglomerate you think it is being a gas station owner. Not for gasoline, nope...
...unless you're the ONLY gas station for miles... then sure, why not.

I just paid 2.76 for 93 clear (ethanol free). We only have two stations left that carry it. I hear due to availability, pricing, and demand it may be going bye bye. Regular 87 is now 1.72 per gallon. Over a dollar difference.
You want highway robbery on gas, move to the Chicago area. Except for California and Hawaii, we must have the highest gas prices. There's a station charging $2.39 for regular near me, and you have to drive 20 miles to find a station under $2 a gallon. In the city itself, it's worse, with prices still above $3 a gallon at many stations. Unbelievable.
Trust me, there are some gas station owners engaging in some highway robbery (no pun intended) in Chicago. One station was at $3.49 for regular a couple of weeks ago. Not sure what they're at now, but across the border in Indiana gas was $1.79. Who's being fooled?
I just paid 2.30 for 93 octane the other day. The Costco near me is $2.11 for 93, but it's not worth waiting in a very long line just to save $3.00. With fewer and fewer days to drive it, I'm not filling up near as much as in nicer weather when it makes a bigger difference. For the most part, I don't even pay attention to the price at the pump.
I have one station that is selling 87 octane for $1.99 and 2 blocks away on the same **** road another station is at $1.74 for 87. I think .25 is a big difference and the higher station is not owned locally. It was this way all last week and once I go back work I'll have to see if outs still the same way.
