How do you get discounts and etc? I wish i knew this stuff before i bought mine.

I paid 27800 before Tax, Licnese, Fee etc...

Came out to 31.6 after everything. I had the extended warranty contract too for 2800 but canceled it.

Anyway, are most of you financing your ride?

It worked out like this for me. The dealer had the car advertised at $32720 (which was really $32895 with the doc fee) before any rebate. I don't know what the exact invoice was, but I do know X Plan was $34552. It was priced significantly under invoice even after they added in $175 doc fee. By the looks of it they were selling it at about A Plan price.

The standard rebate, well you know how that works. Mine was $2500. You can order brochures on Fords website and a lot of the time they will come with a $750 rebate coupon on the back. This would be a Private Offer. You are allowed one of those. I also own a 2008 Ford Ranger and for some time they have been offering a $750 rebate for owning one. That's a Loyalty rebate. Both were able to be combined with the the standard rebate. The dealer can verify this in VINCENT.

There are several kinds of loyalty rebates private offers out there at any given time. Edmunds sometimes shows some of them on their incentives page.

BTW, if anyone is looking for the Sterling Gray version of my car, Base, Auto, Sync, Brembo, Recaro, I think the dealer still has it. Same price. Obviously the standard rebate for your area and whether you're eligible for loyalty and private offers will determine what you get it for. But one thing for sure, you will drive out well below invoice. It's in Texas. If anyone is looking for something like that, PM me.

And yes, I financed most of it. Cost to borrow money was low enough not to even put much down. But that's just my opinion.

Got my '11 gt premium used with 893 miles on it for around 22k after trade in.

downfall carfax says structural damage due to it being used in a commercial and they had to weld the camera mounts to the frame. I looked at the frame and it was perfect.
