It has very texture to and I'd say the stock chin is more textured. The paint was more matte black, but I painted everything flat black to match last night.

That looks fantastic. What parts did you order? Was it really expensive? Also how long did it take to install?

It's the Boss 302 splitter kit from American Muscle. Was $640. Install was a piece of cake. Direct bolt on

My last Stang was a CS and I liked the chin spoiler, but I actually like my new one better and almost 1/3rd the price.

Yeah it was definitely steep, but I knew the minute I saw my buddies boss that it was the one I had to have. Truth be told with all the money that gets thrown at this car I figured get the one I want and not wish I got it after getting something else. Crazy part is if you want the Laguna Seca add on splitter which compliments this one, that's another $600-$700.

Good for you! Don't settle for less than what you really want. That is something I learned a long time ago. I would buy something only because it was on sale, when I really had something else in mind. Then eventually I would go back to my original plan, costing me more money. These cars drive me crazy sometimes.

Been there and done that with other cars. Never again. Either I can get what I want or I will just leave it alone. I knew of I got any other splitter that everytime I saw this one I would have been pissed and eventually would have ended up wasting whatever money on a cheaper splitter just to get the one I wanted originally.

I am totally with you on this. I love the rear spliter for the Cs 302 as well. Just trying to get past Cutting up the rear of my car.

Just saw the new Foose one and it goes on with no cutting.

That's my next job. Same situation. Don't want to regret getting something else. The cutting of the bumper cover is not bad at all. There are lines on the inside of the bumper cover that you follow and even if it's not perfect the splitter completely covers where you cut anyway. Same thing with the rear spoiler. I want the GT500 spoiler but will not get the aftermarket ones. I am getting the oem one and having it painted. But that will wait till next year prob. Have other things to worry about first.
