possibly exhaust leak?

Well i got JBA cat delete and H pipe installed a couple days ago. And right where the H pipe/cats are it sounds different. Almost like a leak, but not really. Kinda wondering if its just how things sound now that the cats are gone or if there really is a leak.

Give it a listen and let me know what you think.

It sounds like a leak to me. You need to get under it while its running to see if its leaking at the manifolds where the new connection come together.

Good luck with that, nothing worse then a exhaust leak. I need to buy a low profile jack and shorter jack stands, what I have is for trucks and the jack wont fit under the car.

Def a leak. Got under the car yesterday and it was leaking where the h pipe meets the cat deletes. Doesn't seem to be a perfect fit so when you tighten the clamps down it still leaves gaps for air to escape. Tried filling the gaps with some epoxy type crap that the local shop sold me, only a couple dollars. I dont think i let it sit long enough before i drove it. Maybe 2 hours or a little less.

Was patched pretty well, leak seemed to be gone, than after drive for a couple miles it came back, i think the pressure must have reopened the leak. so again after work under i go to try to get it patched again.... :/ not really liking this product as its caused more issues than its worth.

They might send you a new one and switch them out.

Eh to much work ha. I did get some high heat tape and wrap some of the connections and it seemed to have helped. Sounds like there is another small one somewhere but than again when i rev it i think im hearing my intake.

If I recall the JBAs are well known for not fitting correctly.
