Is it possible to change my ESP?

I got 48k miles and 7 years, no deductible. I went with a low mileage because on my accord I barely put 3k miles on it a year.

But I'm so addicted to driving this Mustang I want more. Is it possible to upgrade to 60k miles/change the ESP?

Dunno. Call Ford ESP and ask. Worst case you get a refund on the current one and then buy the longer one. I don't think changing should be that big of a deal. But don't pay a lot for it. Please.

I went with the low mileage as well. I was told you can change it without penalty (i.e. just pay the additional premium) up until the end of the original factory bumper to bumper warranty.

In other news... Joker changed his mind.

Um, oh, that's not really news.

That's why ignore lists should ignore threads too, not just posts

Yes, you usually just pay the difference from the plan you already bought to the price of the plan you want.

The only problem with THIS is that the dealer can set the "new" price to whatever they want and tell you the difference is "x" . . . when in reality the day you bought the ESP it was x-$500. They get to decide how much profit they want on the ESP and unless you KNOW what the quote was the day you got the other one, you're just a captive audience.

My dealer quoted me a "can't budge" price of like $1700 for a 6 yr/100k ESP. And then I showed them my existing quote for under $1000. They matched it if I bought it right then. I did.
