Pinstripes on sides with no center stripes

Has anyone only put on pinstripes riding high on the side of the car, ending back just above the 1/4 window? Have rarely seen this combo and have only seen the 2 stripes down the center of the car. Don't know whether this just doesn't fit with GT or if folks just prefer the bold center stripes. Just received GT Redfire/parch and wonder what a gold pinstripe would look like on the side for a more toned down effect.

Anyone have any pics? and/or let me know comments on this.

Nope.... Havent seen a single S197 with Pin-stripes. Dont think it would look good. Pin-Stripes are for sedans and vans, not on American Horsepower.

Its more of a sedan/suv thing. If you want some 'pop' with a little color, do something like a fading rocker stripe or something to that effect.

I bought some silver and back pinstriping to see what it would look like with a nice little pinstripe going downthe sides of the stang. I didnt like it and took it off in 1 day.

I ended up putting in on my 05 impala business/company car and it looks good.

Mine has one, the dealer installed it before I ever saw the car. I could take it or leave it, but have opted to leave it becuase I have seen that pinstripe removal can do to your paint job.

I have to look at it for some time as well! Looks real sharp, I like the rocker panel/hood scheme but am still thinking about the pinstripe.

When I was buying my 05 and showed up for the test drive, it had a brown pin stripe on each side. I took one look and said "are you kidding me?" Needless to say they removed them before I drove it off the lot

2 weeks ago I almost traded in my 06. I was going to buy an 07 Grabber Orange GT but I was not feeling the window etching that had a picture of a mustang and also it had pinstriping (gold and blue). The pin striping just seems to break up the cars natural lines to me. All and all I didnt buy the car cus the dealer wanted me to pay an extra $1400 for the tint, etching, pinstriping.
