Picked Up My 2011 GT Yesterday - Calgary, Alberta - (Links to Pics Inside)
I picked up my 2011 Black GT last night. Amazing, amazing car! I can't believe how beautiful it is in person. In pics it looks ok, but they do not do it justice. The wheels with the black exterior are so gorgeous in person.
This is my first mustang ever so I can't compare my driving experience, but all I can say is wow! When other people have posted that it makes power in every gear, they are not lying!!
Here are the pics I have taken so far:

Well it came pretty quick because I didn't order it myself. I picked it out of the dealer inventory that he had already ordered. It just happened to be the colour and have the options I wanted. It was built on April 13th, and it got delivered on the 24th of May. I assume they got it right away because they are a dealer.

Thank you Tim! It was about $42,000 CDN. Remember Canadian prices are a bit higher than U.S. prices. But that's about $4000 off the sticker as I had an x-plan pin.

I can't view your pics on my iPhone but I can picture it being a nice combo! I would paint the brake calipers Grabber Blue and have the Brembo lettering done in black to tie the interior to the exterior. What do ya think?

Too bad about the front plate bracket. My 2010 GT convertible has the bracket and a front plate is required by law in BC (not required in Alberta). I'm not going to put a front plate on my GT500.

My 08 GT is Dark Candy Apple Red, nice! But, nothing beats a "clean" Black Stang IMO.
My next Stang will be Black!
Wow! Your first Stang is a 412hp GT! Way to go! Go kick some Camaro SS A$$!

to view it on the iphone load the link in safari and delete /show/ and it will take you to his gallery instead of the flash site

Thanks! Really good looking car...but yeah the front plate. Bah! I hate those things. I have it on my 2000 but only thanks to Ford making a cut out in the bumper for it. Once I get my Cobra bumper it won't be on there anymore.

Congrats on the new GT. That's a good price with the options you have. I drove a Kona Blue 2011 GT last week that had the same options minus the NAV and they would not move off the $42,700 sticker. But they cut me a good deal on the 2010 GT500 I bought.

2nd - that stupid front plate bracket. The car was ordered originally from the Calgary's sister dealership in Vancouver. So in BC you need a front license plate but in Alberta you do not. I'm not sure what to do about it but I do want to get rid of it.
Thanks again - I'm going driving again for a few hours after work!

Dollar may be close to par but Ford's pricing is still higher in Canada than in the U.S.
*Note to those in Canada getting financing through Ford - they give you back your first payment (up to $750) if you finance through them. So that was an added bonus.
