Smile Outlaw Axelback W/Catted X-Pipe Help?

Hi guys, I'm new here. I would appreciate it if you guys would give me your thoughts on exhaust set ups. I currently own a 2010 GT that I plan on modding this summer. The only thing I've done so far is swapped out the stock CAI for a K&N. My goal is to eventually reach around 350 rwhp. I'd like to stick with bolt-ons.

The first thing I'd like to do is get a Flowmaster Outlaw AB as well as a BBK Catted X-Pipe. I've watched so many videos trying to determine whether to go Catted or catless. It seems people complain about gassy smells and too much pop/crackle with the catless X-Pipe. Where I live, there are no vehicle inspections, but I'm not sure which x pipe sounds better in person. I also looked into LT headers, but the general consensus was that for the money and energy, the HP gains aren't worth it. I've also heard tuners ad a reasonable amount of HP.

One other question I have is how can I accurately measure HP based on the mods I've made? I know there's a difference between drivetrain HP and Rwhp, but when people ask me how much HP I make, I'd like to tell them a reasonably accurate number. Thanks for your help in advance

I went catless for a spell and the smell is not bad unless youre standing behind the vehicle or start it in a confined area. Removing the cats will help you gain 15hp but it will make the car a lot louder depending on the muffs you run.
Manufacturers HP ratings are usually extremely high and youd be safe to take half the HP to be close to the gain from that part. If youre curious on how much HP your stang is making with your mods, just search to what others put down on a dyno or take yours to a dyno.
