Opinions on Stripe Color

As I posted up earlier this week I picked up a Silver V6 and want to do over the top stripes... I'd like to hear opinions on what color to go with.

Here is what the car looks like today...

And using Forza3 I created a few screen shots with different color stripes. The first is with a Dark Blue stripe to be a reverse-Shelby look.

The second (and the one I am leaning toward) is a dark grey color.

IMO, dark gray or flat black.

Black or flat black would look good, but you don't see many sterling/silver w/blue stripes. I love that combo on the KRs, but can't say I've seen it on a '10.

Yep, my vote is black too. Any "color" on what is essentially a fairly monochrome look looks out of place IMO. But black stripes set it off nicely.

The blue looks cool, but I think it would get old quickly. Flat black would look good and timeless.

Flat black for the classic look, or something like an Alloy gray would look good too.

Black stripes are so common and the reason you want stripes is to stand out, right? British Racing Green would be my first choice, followed by red or magenta.

The color combo on the KRs were beautiful. Heres this 2010 clay model of the GT500. By the way, remember the amber markers inside the grill we saw on early prototypes.

Nuthin at all to do with silver, but I saw the white with pink stripes for the second time on my way to work tonight. Still looks wrong to me.

If you do over the top stripes, do the newer style black ones. I seen a white car with the new OT stripes and it looked good. Silvers cars are nice but always harder for me to find something I like contrasting with silver. You can't go wrong with black though, especially since you already have the black rocker stripes.

Kona blue or flat black stripes

OH - and ditch the rocker stripes when you go with the top ones - too many stickers take away from the lines IMO

Since they are basically a sticker, whatever you decide on can be replaced if you feel the need. I like the black the best. It's a nice contrast.

I saw a silver with dark blue stripes this morning at the dealer (employee's car). It looks just fine.

Dark blue would be a good choice I believe...
