What do guys (and gals) think? As you all know, the CS does not come in Kona Blue, and it seems that a majority of Mustang Owners who facilitates a front end change goes with the Roush...so, ever since I saw dmhines' Sunset Gold Mustang with the CS front end, I've been contemplating this look for my Kona Blue when she arrives in a few weeks.

btw, I'm no pro when it comes to photo-shopping an image, so please excuse the crudeness of my work

Change the grille then...
Personally, too many lights for my taste.

Good chop tho.

Yes..I agree...going with either the Saleen or Roush grill...I couldn't find a good match (between pictures)to cut and paste the grill.

I hear ya... Can't go wrong with either grille really...
Plus with the HID's you have on order it'll look pretty solid.
Go for it man.

OK...I've got a Saleen and SMS grill...not the best chop...but at least get some kind of visual of what I'm looking for.

First one looks the best. I like the fogs in the grill personally.

I've got a Kona Blue GT on order and I've already got the California Special airdam in my garage. I'm not going to change my upper grill and I'm not installing foglamps in the CS airdam. The holes for the foglamps are somewhat recessed, and small enough so that I don't think it will look like something is obviously missing. While the airdam is unpainted on the CS, I am going to have it painted Kona Blue except for the trapezoidal panels where the foglamps would normally reside. I'm also going to have the grill surround painted.

Your car was built 4-15 and you still don't have it? What is your dealer telling you that is the dealy? Mine was built 6-21 and as far as my dealer knows, it was shipped to another factory to have the glass roof installed. Is that where your car is sitting?

On your front end, that should be a very unique look with the partially painted CS...look forward to some pics when you get her done....good luck!!

Use the foglight holes in the CS airdam for brake cooling ducts.

For the last couple of months all my dealer could get out of Ford is that it there was a quality control hold on GT's, mine hadn't shipped yet, and there was no ETA. Last Thursday I talked to the sales manager at my Ford dealer and he said it was finally on a train. A slow train, apparently, but a train nonetheless. I should be able to pick it up next week.

Well, I hope you get your car soon. So far, I've been really relaxed about the time table with my car...but I can imagine that you are getting a little anxious to get yours and I don't blame you.

Like you, I've ordered some MOD parts for mine already...I have a set of pre-painted Silverhorse flush 1/4 window louvers sitting in my office along with alum billet door lock pins. The front MOD is next...after that, rear Shelby spoiler and rear diffuser

This!

Or cut out the fog holes and make a mesh backing like the M3 or 6 series. I would like to do that with mine some day. I like the GT grill a lot.
