OMG, muffler delete on 2011 V6

Holy cow guys, I just removed my mufflers off my 2011 V6 Stang and I must say, it sounds like sex on wheels!! My parents are *not* too happy about it though, so I might have to put them back on

I do have muffler rattle though

So excited I just had to make a post about it. That is all.

Well, there's nothing left holding them up now.

Get a muffler shop to make some tailpipes up with some tips, it will sound better and will stop the rattle.

Did it to my '10 GT and just reused the stock tips. Went to a reputable shop he bent 2 pipes cut the tips off the stock mufflers, welded it up for me. $65 out the door.

About right.

Of course if you have them cut the tips off the stock mufflers and then decide to put them back on they may be hard to weld back on.

Okay guys, no video. I decided to put the mufflers back on today. I left the bolts a little loose so I still get a slightly louder than stock sound, while still being quiet. I think it is suitable for me. I am not trying to get a 8 cylinder sound out of a 6 cylinder motor, so quiet is good.

How are loose bolts making it louder??? Does not sound like a good idea.

Well now he has an exhaust leak. That's what's making it louder .
Hey ace, just tighten the nuts and save for some mufflers. You will be happy you did.

You're driving around with an exhaust leak as a sound mod?
I'm scared for your car.

Anyone in the greater Texas area should be on the look out for any loose muffler bolts falling.

Yes really, leave your car alone you have no idea what you are doing and you are going to end up dropping bolts on the highway and damaging a car or injuring someone.

This is why you don't mess with cars if you don't know what you're doing.

I hate to say it, but it's my car and I think I will mess with it some more.

I know yall are just trying to help, but can someone explain to me how bolts will fly off my car if I leave muffler connection bolts 2 rotations loose? They are secured to the hangars and they are still connected to my pipes.

Maybe I am just a idiot?
