Oil change issue

Took my car to a quicky oil change place last week. Went with full synthetic 5/20, they didn't use mobile one and I can't remember which brand they used. I ran a system check going down the street a few miles later and I get that my oil has 8% of it's life left?!?!? World Trade Federation?

Thoughts?

Yeah you have to reset it yourself using the buttons to the left of the steering wheel

Most non-dealer shops don't bother resetting the oil change indicator because it's a different combination of buttons on every car.

Dealer forgot to set mine the first time, now I make sure and tell them before it's done, haven't had a problem since

They used old oil and the car knows it.

Press the SETUP button until the Oil Life xx% message is displayed then press and hold the RESET button for about two seconds to reset to 100%.

Also make sure they put the right number of quarts as well cause we all know there have been issues with them only putting six in at the dealerships.

That happened to me too. Dealer oil change and they didn't reset it. Did it myself.
