I have ordered.....2013 Mustang GT/CS Convertible in black, 6 spd stick, Shaker 1000... Ordered March 12.

Hey can anyone tell me what rearend gears are coming in the manual transmission in a Vert? 3.55's??:steering:

I should have my 2013 GT/CS in a week (ETA 4/9, so 4/10 for me to pick up?)

I don't know for sure (don't have the order guide open) but the non-convertible default is 3.31. I wouldn't think the convertible would upgrade you by default to 3.55

Funny, I just looked up on my form, from the dealer here in Canada & it is putting 3:55:1 as a standard option on any 5.0L V8 (Man), this is on the "Rear-Axle Ratio Availabilty" sheet , it shows 3:15's as standard for the auto..... & 3:31's as options only for the 3.7 Premiums... Typo??:confused:

Did you have to order the 3.55's as an option??

No, it's standard in Canada but just letting the US members know because they have 3 choices.

Man I want the CS so bad!!! I got to find a way.

Oh OK, I noticed that in Canada this month we have a $2000 Delivery Allowance & The $1000 Costco Discount! :-D

& Maybe, Just Maybe the Canadian CS's have the 255/40R19 Tires, like those of the Brembos that they are advertising on the build site & all the info I have received.

I went to the CA build site and tried to add Brembos on the 402 CS option and it won't let me.

Anyway, big thanks for the heads up for the rebate and after confirming it with my salesman, he also said that it is 0% int. for 36m and 1.99% for 48m. My deal was already $2200 below msrp. So that is really cool since I gave them a sweet deal on my 2010 Fusion Sport AWD trade in.
Btw, he also said that it could show up next week since his came a week earlier.

I just meant that it has the same tires as the Brembo package... The summer only. I'm hoping anyway!

I was hoping for that too but the summers don't grip when the temp is below
5 degrees C. So if we get 255's I'll put all seasons on my 18" Enkeis.

A little off topic and not as cool as a California Special, but I'm hoping that's my Grabber Blue V6 Premium in front of your car! :D

Did you sell your GT500 for a Boss?? Why? if you dont mind me asking...

She shipped today, which means she's complete, out of the plant lot, and waiting in a Ford center to be picked up for delivery. Getting a little tense here...destination for delivery is only 45 miles away. It will happen any day now....:D. I'm hoping to at least lay eyes on her before this weekend is over.

There were drastically fewer bosses laying around, but I suspect that is probably normal. I could not get less than about 100 yards from them. They were in a special lot...all of their own.

Worst question a wife could ask 1 week before delivery.

:feedback: Can't decide between C/S or base GT with Brembo/Tech PKG/Ricaro's. Save 1500.00 going with Base. I love look of C/S front (no lights) and much cleane. But love Bremo's/Ricaro. How hard would it be to change up base GT to C/S front and back?

I sold my GT500 to buy a house. I'm back in the market for a Mustang. 2013 GT500 is a bit pricey!

PS: I don't plan to buy C/S or Base GT for 8 or 10 months, so I got time. I am waiting to see if ticking noise is gone (see 2011 2012). If not gone, hoping for 2011 GT500 for same price.

I just ordered mine today. Now the wait begins...

Went to the dealership and finally got to test drive two different ones. However, here is the first CS I have seen which I test drove. The interior was nice with the suede inserts, and the carbon fiber dash which looked really good. SO ENJOY!! Sorry if the pics are little big.

Thanks so much for those white CS pictures! That's my future car! Are all CS cars window tinted when they arrive at the dealer?

The over the top front end looks good on the CS...and the white with blacked grill vents are perfect!

No problem fellas...it was a pleasant surprise when I arrived to test some 2013's. Even the salesman didn't know about it. It is truly my favorite option package....the finishes are right on.

Deysha PMed me that my car is now in Ontario with an ETA of today. Sadly, she is still in transit. It could show up tomorrow and if I get a chance I will take pics of her ASAP.

I'm waiting to see her!:poke:

The 15 minutes I spent on this was worth it. I think I know why it's still going to cost $795 (Destination & Delivery) to transport my car 44 miles from the plant to the dealership. It surely explains the velocity of the transportation method.

CS Vert

It looks like this one doesn't have any stripes. I tried to delete the stripes when I placed my order and the dealer tried but they were told that it was not possible. :(

I'm sure they are there just hard to see in shadow.

Hmmmm.....appearance things they changed.....
The stripe location in the middle of the car was more retro to the '68.....too much like other stripe options now.....not a good change to me.
The 5.0 on the side.....I like the stealth look only having GT within the stripe.
The faux gas cap has an added GT.....previous ones gave more distinction to the CS with no GT indicated.
Wheels.....like mine but no big deal there.

Last year when mine finally showed up I passed the car carrier about 10 miles from the dealer. I thought it was funny that I happened to be in the right place at the right time to see it.

That car looks amazing. I cannot wait for mine to arrive! I have a long way to go.

White looks great on the cs. I can't however figure out why the wheels don't have a more aggressive offset. The fronts are ok but the rears are tucked in too much IMO.
If you look at the pics on the ford site they show a more aggressive offset because originally that cs had brembo wheels on it. The wheels were shopped but the offset was not.

As nice as that is....somehow her manager at ford needs to make sure she gets a spiff...like $150 visa card .... Or a paid day off ...something of value besides a thread. How would we all be able to do this ?
