This way Ford won't give you **** for your car being lowered when you come in for a tire rotation or oil change, etc. Same with the tune. Now you won't have to switch back to the factory tune to get an oil chance, etc. It's the convenience factor.
Yah that all makes sense and I could see how it's useful. I just wanted to point out that even with a aftermarket CAI/tuner you can still get warranty work done, although yes you have to spend the hour before and after to swap the parts/flash the tune.

Just passed my 3/36 on my 07 GT, and had a CAI/Tuner for the last two years. Never had anything break luckily, and servicing the car wasn't a problem because I don't do service at dealerships.

*edit* BTW have you really had dealers give you crap about being lowered while doing oil/tire rotations? That's pretty messed up..

Actually the dealer gave me crap about being lowered/my Cobra hood/STB/etc etc when I took the car there to have the sparkplugs changed. They broke the plug in the head and told me it was going to need a new head. I had the car towed to our family friend's shop and they had to pull the head, but got the plug out. No new head needed.

That's a different case, but I was a paying customer. It wasn't even warranty work. And this dealer sells Roush, so I know they are used to seeing these kinds of parts. I just like to have my rearend covered when I go into the dealer for service. I was pissed when Ford decided to make that dealer the hub for most of the east bay area. They closed 4 dealers and had all the sharks who worked at the other ones take over our old family-owned dealer and it all went to hell.

Geez... for $8,000 I think a low 5-6PSI SC and your own suspension work would be in order.

Ok, this makes me wonder about something. This picture shows that the turn signals (in the headlights) are clear with an amber bulb. Are all of the turn signal lenses clear on the HIDs or is that a RTR feature?

For some reason I don't like the Kona RTR at all, sorry guys, but the White is magnificent!! That's the look I wanted. I know it's just a color change but for some reason it just looks soooo much better!

I couldn't agree more. That kona with the light blue is terrible, IMO, but that white is gorgeous. They should do one that's black with silver or red candy stripes.
