The below thread is from the SVTP site........... It shows GT500's parked in a lot waiting for the glass roof & or top stripes..................pics were taken by a friend that works there.
( the SGM is the OP's car )

Pics from Area 51
Car was in body shop Monday and assembly line tues, I received these from a connection at the plant yesterday morning, car awaiting glass roof and top stripes and finishing.
We had a Thunderstorm roll through early Tues morning, so it looks like its already gotten rained on Not that that bothers me, just hope the roof doesn't leak like that or that the engine gets water, the heat extractor cover doesn't appear to be on yet.
I should get more pics when finished.
Although it looks like his camera sucks
Cool photos to have for the cars album.

.........................& the finished product..

Of course. I'll have to post some better pics later (cell phone pic when I first got it home)...
On a side note, it had 32 miles on it when I bought it. I work at the dealership where I bought it and I don't recall anybody else driving it before me.

That is awesome. That's a great color, and the glass roof contrasts it really well. Good choice

Just to add some more detail... the roof structure to which the glass attaches was indeed engineered specifically for the glass roof model. The component is referred to as the "halo" structure. It was designed to allow the glass panel to sit flush against the existing top surfaces of the car, similar to what was shown on the Mustang fastback concept car back in 2002. It also integrates the the roll shade, as well as provide the necessary strength and rigidity.
The pics posted above show the environmentally-sealed cap used on all glass roof cars at Flatrock, prior to glass installation. They move from the main plant assembly line to the mod center with the cap installed. The mod center is onsite at Flatrock Assembly, about 1/2 to 3/4 mile from the end of the assembly line.
There may be schematics of the halo available in a service parts catalog (replacement body panels?) so you can see what's different. Glad you like the glass roof!

My second glass roof. First on my 09 that I bought used. When I went to order the 14 no question but to get the glass roof on the new car... actually looked at the Odom just after coming off the truck car had 28 miles.
