Odd Question... Bad Pictures

I need a little help. On the front right side of my 5.0 there is a wiring harness retainer. It is just to the right of the throttle body. The harness runs to the VVT Solenoids on the right head. It is a plastic strap with a push in clip. The clip is just hanging out. It appears it is installed about an inch to high on the harness and should go in a cast hole on the timing cover. Can someone confirm this for me please?! I included pictures... But they are poor at best! Thanks Guys! Oooo... And yes I tried to slide it down the harness the one inch with zero luck. It is quite stubborn and in a confined space.

Thanks for the Pic!... Unfortunately the coolant overflow bottle is blocking the harness where I need to see... There is a plastic tie with a retainer clip on it right there. I am 99% sure it clips into a hole cast into the timing cover. On mine the retainer is on the harness incorrectly and will not reach anywhere on the motor where it will fasten. Just want to know where it is supposed to be! Thanks!

Closer!... But no... I am seriously thinking about stopping at the dealer on the way home and asking them if I can look under the hood of a 5.0 on the lot... Most people would probably care less but little stuff like that drives me crazy! Thanks for the pictures!

If what I'm seeing is a flat tab with a hole in it usually they just push them onto a stud bolt. I've got a few on my 05.

The wiring harness has that style too... They are all in place. The retainer I am concerned with is a plastic strap with a male end that I think pushes into a machined hole in the timing cover...

Update: Stopped by the local dealer on my way home and looked under the hood of a 5.0. They all have this retainer and it does not fasten to anything! Go figure!

Definitely drove me crazy for about 24 hours... And the silly thing is if was installed on the harness a inch lower it would be completely useful to secure the harness to the timing cover...
