ouch.
Yeah, I know. I guess a lot more people have watched Transformers or Hawaii 5-0 than have read an article comparing these cars.
It's not only that. Almost every single category. Ride quality, interior, fun factor, materials used etc etc. But then again, these aren't cars that u go to the dealer and say lets check out the mustang or camaro. It's usually one that your set on prior to even getting there

Sorry guys but I am so unimpressed with the 2011+ stangs. The new 5.0 was an exciting thing when it was introduced. Just not as impressive as I hoped it would be. Styling and power have a whole lot to do with it. Say what you will, the camaro IS a well built vehicle. If I had to choose between a GT and a SS Camaro, I'm going Chevy. Boss or Shelby option, I'm going Ford. The mustang needs a facelift. And it needs to be a drastic change. My opinion.

WTF do sales figures have to do with ANYTHING? By sales numbers alone one would suspect the 1957 Ford would be more popular than the 1957 Chevy. Ford out sold Chevy that year. What's more popular now?
Also, until someone shows # of units sold since the year Camaro went out of production you're still getting skewed numbers. Camaro is still catching up in sales that were deferred all those years.

Don't worry the mustang will hit it off big with the new redesign and sales will flourish for awhile and everything will even out until Chevy decides not to run the Camaro again :P
I think the current design still looks great and it will age very well. Initially I hated the 2010 redesign, but it has grown on me. The plastic skirt looks really good with darker colors, but seems to contrast on lighter ones. I am biased, but think Sterling Grey is still the best color and have no idea why Ford discontinued it on the 2012s. Color keyed skirts for lighter color cars would be about the only thing I would change from the 2010 redesign. All IMHO of course.

hopefully 2015 wont disappoint.
If the mustang would have came out with the new camaro body, I wonder how many people here would still call it ugly. Would love one of the photoshop pros to put a mustang grill, tail lights, and a fake side scoop on a camaro body. The camaro was introduced in the transformer movie and it was sexy as hell. Although the saleen cop car was pretty dang fine also. The reason that I don't like the camaro is they are everywhere. Not because they don't look good. And the sales figures prove this. The GTO, which is a great car, is hotter now than when they were produced because gear heads see all its potential. They didn't sell well because they look so plain. Styling is what sells most cars. They can drive like tractors as long as they look good. The mustang is as plain as a sports car can get. The stang loyal community will argue all day long about the pros and cons but you are not gonna convince someone to buy a car that they don't like looking at.

Are Americans still giving the government free use of their money for a year??
