Well, I do agree with you, but to play devil's advocate a moment - Tires are a consumable. No matter what you put on the car, in 10-15,000 (I'm talking performance tire here), many of us will be coming up to replace. selling the car with a lesser priced tire will keep a few extra dollars off the MSRP for something the owner will have to pay for at some point anyway. Part of me says, put a $99 set on the car so I can drive it to my nearest tire store of choice and let me buy the exact tire I want from the get go. I personally have Nittos now and may go NT05 for mine. Though that Pirelli model straight off the porsche or lambo (can't remember the model right now), could be a nice choice too... So many options ford is not like to ever please us all.

[quote=WarpdSpazm;5803620]67F SVT PERFORMANCE PACKAGE
.P265/40 P285/35 TIRES
.REAR SPOILER W/GURNEY FLAP
.3.73 LIMITED SLIP AXLE
.SHELBY SIDE STRIPE
.SHELBY OVER THE TOP STRIPE 2
.19X9.5 PREMIUM PAINTED WHEEL

Interesting.....when I built one in Conceps last week it showed 19x9.5 and 20x9.5 wheels and a required a stripe delete. Now its showing a a new stripe combo, Shelby over the top stripe 2? HMMM wonder what that means?

Doesn't it list for $3495 too? How could all that add up to that price?

That will be welcome news. In my opinion, the GT500 doesn't need more power; it makes plenty of power. What it needs is a lower curb weight and better front/rear distribution.

Well from what you can gather, are Recaros slated for any 2011 Mustang? Or will it be a Boss 302 option only...

We honestly don't know yet, just give it time til all the facts come out. I wouldn't be speaking about it if it didn't come from someone I trust.

The name has nothing to do with Ford's GT500 pricing. The car is well priced.

I disagree...the Shelby name does impact the price (and demand) for the GT500. That said I agree it is "fairly" priced.

Your check last week may well be more up to date. My posting was a quote pulled from Five Oh Brian's data from an old post. Can you pull the information yu see and post it? 10.5 is a nice fat tire! I'm hoping you're right on that!

+1. A little lighter, IRS, and improved traction- nothing could touch it...
