Angry No throttle response

On occasion , 2012 3.7 v6 mustang looses throttle response while driving . I can give it the gas pedal and no response to it. I also notice wrench light comes on the dash instrument panel. I have to coast over off the road , put the car in park shut it down and let it set for a few seconds start it backup ,with it coughing back to life , At that point it drives fine. This has happened a few times , and I am afraid it will get worse , or at a dangerous location. Has anybody have this to happen ? What is the problem, and the fix.

I had a friend of mine's 2008 Shelby GT500 do the exact same thing... He found out from his local Ford dealership that his fuel pump had gone bad and required replacing... Therefore, I would have your throttle body and fuel pump checked out!
