No rebates on 2011's ?

Just went on the Ford site..they have no regular ( just military & police) cash rebates for any 2011 Mustang and just financing incentives on the V6. No financing incentives in the GT. Am I wrong???? www.fordvehicles.com/incentives

Program #20238 Low APR Special (Not Combinable with other Offers)

Program #20240 Low APR Promotional (Combinable with $500 Bonus Cash)

Program #11796 $500 Bonus Cash

...and the only one that shows up on Fords Retail Site is #20238. However your dealer can likely see them on his site and if not they will show up when he runs the Smart Vincent on your car.

There is a list of all the incentives except the special X-Plan Ones (Sent to people on the X-Plan Mailing List).

Change it to your model and your zip. I cant guarantee its 100% accurate but it matches the Smart Vincent the Dealer ran on my car which is more than I can say for the Ford Retail Site.

Anyone know if the zip code is supposed to be the zip code of where you buy the car or where you live? I assume it's where you buy, but it doesn't really say.

Also, I wouldn't get too worked up about any rebates without taking the end dates into effect. Both the APR rates and the $500 rebate show up with end dates of 6/1/2010. I highly doubt any ROV orders will show up before June.

I think it has to do with the incentives that are available in the state where the vehicle is purchased. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here.

Its where you live. Ford does it that way so it doesnt put dealers across the state line at competitive disadvantage.

I am getting scared. $500 back and the 0% APR financing expire on 6/1/2010, and I doubt my car will arrive by then.

I hope Gene K is right. It's funny that the rebate shows up on Edmunds but not the Ford website.

Ford will most likely have a new program then. Thats simply the end of their marketing period.

This all started because a dealer saw a $500 Rebate on the Ford dealers site that was about to start for the 2011 Mustang. No one could find it so I started searching.

As long as the dealer can enter your VIN and Rebate into the Smart Vincent System so he can get paid it really doesnt matter. Always have the dealer run a printout of all the available rebates on your car from that system when doing the paperwork and give it to you. That way you can see if you are entitled to any rebates you might not have otherwise known about.

On my car with my VIN at my zipcode the 0% + $500 Bonus Cash + $750 Private Cash (Brochure Rebate) worked when the dealer checked them in the System.

Hopefully nothing will change before they expire. Although Ford reserves the right to end or modify programs without notice it seldom happens.

The Ford Vehicles Site is really just a promotional site. Just like some options are missing and links broken on the 2011 Mustang "Build and Price" the "Incentives and Rebates" section isnt always 100% either.

I hope everything I have been able to find out is correct. I have done everything in my power to verify the programs. The final test now is when my car gets here (Currently due 5-08-2010). If an issue arises I will inform you.

I really, really, hope that Ford continues these cash back bonuses and 0% 36 month financing. I kind of planned my purchase around them, not knowing about the 6/1 expiration date. Let's just hope it's really just the end of the marketing period...

Gene, thanks for all of your homework on this. My car is "expected" on 5/8 as well (although I still have no window sticker.) Even at that, I have another few weeks until 6/1 as cushion. And I suspect they'll continue to offer the same incentives from 6/1 to 7/5 and push it through the 4th of July holiday weekend.
