no new 2012 orders being built till june?
This is what i was told by a dealer this weekend. If i ordered a new 2012 right now it would not get built until june becuase the plant is shutdown until then. now i know the plant is not shut down till june. but are new orders not being built until then?
It seemed like it was dealer babble for they dont think they can get an allocation. Still with the retail order verification process wouldnt that put it before an allocation?

That's what I was told along with a slew of excuses...they should be honest and say "hey I don't have allocation till june" but no they tell u 6-8 weeks then try n push u off till they get them in if I don't get some real answers from my dealer this week I'm going to cancel and go somewhere else...

Allocation is very tight nationwide for Mustangs as production is very limited right now. The factory is open & building cars, but it is very slow going right now. All dealers are in the same boat.
The dealer I work for is receiving a steady stream (trickle) of new Mustangs, but much less than normal. Pulling up inventory all around our region shows the same thing. Very few being shipped from the factory, but they are showing up in small quantities.

Ford no longer requires the Retail Order Verification Form for new Mustang orders.

When will the order banks close? I am trying to plan an order but need the car near the end of the year. I have to save up! Thing that is bothering me is if they do make some tweaks to the rear. I can't wait till spring of 2012 though!
