No engine or Computer

I bought a 2010 GT manual cheap without a engine, PCM or key. I can tell the 08-10 engines are interchangeable, they show four different PCMs ( for 2010 GT manual) but I would guess any of them could and would half to be programmed to my car anyway. I guess my question is if I used an 08 GT for a donor car I assume I can't reprogram its PCM for mine? Car is in good shape but with the mileage not lighting up hate spend a ton on it then have 200,000 miles on the car. I assume if I picked a PCM first for it I could be able to get power up to check? Thanks for any help?

You can definitely reprogram the pcm for your car. you will need the vin of your car and the tear tag of a 2010 GT (Going to a dealership and asking to look under the hood might get you that) and then you can punch that into IDS and reprogram it.

I would think he could find a pcm that matched the vin on the car he bought. No program would be needed then.
