No-drill license plate mount for V6?

Does anyone know of one for the V6? I know the Craig's system is great, but it's only for GT's.

I don't want holes in my bumper. I don't really know how to make one either, but I'm willing to learn if someone can provide information and required parts.

But honestly, I'd much rather just spend the <$100 it costs and be done with it.

Thank you.

I can't help you regarding your original question, but I wanted to chime in about Craig's bracket for the GT. I bought one, tried it for a while, and now it rides in the floorboard behind the driver's seat... I didn't care for how it attaches to the plastic under the bumper. It seemed floppy and it never sat straight. Just my 2c.

So what do you use now? I was just about to pull the trigger on the Craig mount. ????????????

And to clarify: are you talking about the no-drill mount that locates the plate about where the drill mount does (center of bumber), or are you talking about Craig's retractable "show car" mount that locates underneath the entire front valance, off-center to one side?

I bought Craig's and it worked fine for me. I was worried however that if I tightened it all the way and left it on that it would eventually leave an indent where the rubber stopper was.

I only needed to put it on for a few days and now it rests in my trunk so it worked fine in my case

Rare earth magnets

Have you tried using rare earth magnets on the stock mounting bracket combined with a magnet placed behind the bumper? I have to admit I have not tried this (I just leave mine off). Check out Rare Earth magnets on Amazon. They are incredibly strong you would be amazed how strong they are.

The thing is I like the license plate where it normally is. I guess I'll just let them drill it.

I was going to use this method until I thought it through and decided otherwise because I'd be blocking "cool" air from the radiator in the Texas summer heat. I've loosely mounted my front plate on the floor of my trunk...

Yes. The dealer helpfully installed it for me when I picked up my car. It soon fell off. One of the bolts left a scratch across the bumper outboard from the license plate mounting dimples. Afterwards, I had a clear bra installed, which made the scratch less noticeable. Then I put the bracket on myself - super tight. Even so, it was floppy and hung crooked. I took it off and tried mounting it upside down. This did not seem to work, so I tossed the plate and bracket behind my seat and promptly lost interest.

This is just my opinion. Plenty of folks on the forum have had positive comments about Craig's bracket.
