New Wheels, Brembos, Springs- Pics Inside!

So while my car was hibernating I amassed a nice little stockpile of goodies. I picked up a set of wheels/tires that were take-offs from a '12 GT500 SVTPP package. I also picked up a Brembo setup that were also Shelby take-offs. I installed Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs as well as a BMR adjustable panhard bar and JLT oil separator to round it off.

Now I just need to sell my California Special wheels to pay for some of this stuff!

Thanks! It took me awhile to find a nice set at a decent price but the wait was worth it. It's prob my favorite mod so far.

Thanks guys! 1" in the front and 1.5" in the rear. I just installed them so they may settle a little more.

Yeah, that's what i figured, i used 1" FR springs and the rear is sitting half an inch to high. Does that mean that you're running 19" and 20" wheels !

Yes, 19's front and 20 rear. Having the 285 tires out back is nice. Only bad part is the replacement tire options are pretty limited for these wheels.

I have 19" s all around and 285's rear, 265's front. I would have to buy new 1.5 "springs just for the rear. That's a bummer.
Anyway's your stance is just perfect.

Looks great man - love the wheels. How's the ride quality with the new springs? Is this the kit you got (http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/s...ndard+Brakes)?

Thanks! The ride quality is pretty close to stock. A little stiffer but the improved handling makes up for it.

Yes that's the kit I got.

Love those wheels, i thought about getting those but wasn't sure how'd they look on YB. Where did you get the take off brakes and are the front and rear?

I missed a set on e bay from a guy that had a '12 GT500 converted to a Supersnake.

I got the brakes from the classifieds on S197forums. It's just the fronts as the rears are identical on all the Mustangs across the board. I've seen these wheels on a YB and I thought they looked awesome. The gunmetal really completes that color nicely.
